Type 2 Diabetes is a chronic metabolic condition in which the body either does not produce enough insulin or does not use it effectively, resulting in elevated blood sugar levels. Over time, uncontrolled blood sugar can lead to serious health complications including heart disease, kidney damage, vision problems, and nerve damage. Type 2 Diabetes is one of the most common chronic diseases in the United States and affects people of all backgrounds. Lifestyle changes, oral medications, and injectable therapies are commonly used to manage this condition. We are currently enrolling a clinical research study for adults living with Type 2 Diabetes.
