ENROLLING
Celiac Disease
Celiac Disease is an autoimmune condition in which consuming gluten — a protein found in wheat, barley, and rye — triggers an immune response that damages the lining of the small intestine. Over time, this damage interferes with the absorption of nutrients and can lead to symptoms such as diarrhea, bloating, fatigue, and unintended weight loss. Some individuals also experience non-digestive symptoms, including skin rashes, joint pain, and neurological effects. Currently, the only available management for Celiac Disease is strict lifelong adherence to a gluten-free diet. We are currently enrolling a clinical research study for adults with a confirmed diagnosis of Celiac Disease. If you are interested in learning more, please contact our research team. |
