Moderate to Severe Systemic Lupus Erythematosus (J&J)
Systemic Lupus Erythematosus (SLE), commonly known as Lupus, is a chronic autoimmune disease in which the immune system attacks the body’s own healthy tissues and organs. Lupus can affect many systems throughout the body, including the skin, joints, kidneys, heart, and brain. Common symptoms include persistent fatigue, joint pain and swelling, skin rashes (including the characteristic butterfly-shaped rash on the face), and sensitivity to sunlight. Lupus is a complex condition with symptoms that can flare and then subside. Severe or uncontrolled Lupus can lead to organ damage over time. We are currently enrolling a clinical research study for adults living with Systemic Lupus Erythematosus. Please contact our research team to learn more. |
