Systemic Lupus Erythematosus (Lupus or SLE) is a chronic autoimmune disease that causes the immune system to attack healthy tissue throughout the body.

This can result in widespread inflammation affecting the joints, skin, kidneys, blood cells, brain, heart, and lungs. Symptoms vary widely from person to person and can include fatigue, joint pain, rashes, fever, and organ complications. Lupus is characterized by periods of flares and remission, and long-term disease activity can lead to irreversible organ damage if not adequately managed.

Living with Lupus often requires ongoing medical care and monitoring. We are currently enrolling a clinical research study for adults with a diagnosis of Systemic Lupus Erythematosus.
