Ulcerative Colitis

Ulcerative Colitis (UC) is a chronic inflammatory bowel disease that causes ongoing inflammation and ulcers in the lining of the colon and rectum. Symptoms typically include frequent and urgent diarrhea, often with blood, along with abdominal cramping, rectal pain, and fatigue.

UC is a lifelong condition that tends to flare and then enter periods of remission. During active flares, symptoms can be severe and significantly interfere with daily activities, work, and social life. Some patients do not achieve adequate symptom control with available therapies. We are currently enrolling a clinical research study for adults with moderately to severely active Ulcerative Colitis.
